Golf Destinations International (GDI) began in 1992 as a tee time service and since then has grown into a full-service golf travel and event planning company. GDI also handles convention and meeting planning as well as corporate golf events, tournaments and group tour packages. GDI also does business as Palm Springs Golf Vacations and Meeting Destinations International.

The services offered by GDI include accommodations, advance tee times, golf packages, corporate golf services, tournament planning and event management, transportation, receptive services (for other tour operators), meeting planning / Site selections and locations; also private or group golf instruction with PGA professionals. The GDI staff includes PGA professional, Tim Hurja who is also a Certified Instructor for Natural Golf.

GDI is currently affiliated with a number of organizations in the travel industry, including: International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), the Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, the City of Palm Springs Tourism Division, the California Department of Tourism and over 500 travel agents and tour operators worldwide.
